Laptops for Kawa Training Center

Inholland University of Applied Sciences has donated a large number of used laptops and mobile phones to Happy Scholar. This will enable the students of the Kawa Training Center to take a huge step forward in their development. The students, mostly young people who have not completed secondary school, now have the opportunity to develop IT skills that are important for their future work as tour guides, hospitality staff, or independent entrepreneurs.
In collaboration with students from Inholland's ICT program, three apps have also been developed, including one where students can view their schedules and results. Students who do not have a phone will be loaned a phone donated by Inholland.

Update June 2025: Inholland University of Applied Sciences has since donated another 25 very usable laptops, and the Up with Community foundation has started setting up a Training Center for the residents of Zanzibar, where they can take IT classes for a small fee. Renting a suitable space and funding for the necessary equipment is a priority. Donations can be made via the bank account number below, with the reference "ICT Zanzibar."
