Happy Scholar supports students from various primary schools in Zanzibar by providing them with learning materials such as notebooks, pencils, and reading books.
Materials that students in the Netherlands take for granted at school are not available in Zanzibar. There is also a significant shortage of workbooks and English teaching materials.

But you can also help the poorest children by contributing to school uniforms, shoes, books, and a simple school bag. There are still plenty of children in Zanzibar who can't even attend school because their parents can't afford a uniform and shoes.
