Project 1

On the island of Zanzibar, the young population is growing rapidly, but employment opportunities are lagging behind. The tourism sector offers many opportunities, but due to a lack of basic English and IT skills, the local population often cannot take advantage of them.

To change this, we have established the Zanzibar ICT & English Training Centre, in collaboration with the local foundations Up with Community and Zanzibar Initiative. This centre offers affordable courses in English and computer skills, specifically aimed at young people and adults from disadvantaged communities.

With this project, we aim to structurally strengthen the training centre so that it can continue to operate sustainably and offer the local population more opportunities for a better future in the coming years. Financial support is very welcome—every contribution helps keep the centre accessible and enable its continued growth.
